Issue Position

Georgia is entering the third decade of the Georgia-Florida-Alabama "Water Wars." Georgia cannot afford to have the future of the region based on the outcome of this never ending battle. The Georgia General Assembly must do more to provide for conservation practices, sustainable growth and resource management. I was raised on a family farm in Southern Idaho. I helped manage and operate that farm throughout my childhood. For three consecutive years, I managed that farm's water resources in the midst of a drought. I know the value of a drop of water to a region.
